公司以其主要办事机构所在地为住所地，经公司登记机关登记的公司住所 只能有一个。公司的住所应当在其 公司登记机关辖区内。

《合同法》规定，当合同约定的履行地点不明确，给付货币的在接受货币一方所在地履行，交付不动产的在不动产所在地履行，其他标的在履行义务一方所在地履行。因此对于这种情况，住所地即为法律义务的履行地。同时，《民事诉讼法》规定，一般诉讼管辖的原则是原告就被告，因公司设立、确认股东资格、分配利润、解散、清算等纠纷的诉讼，由公司住所地人民法院管辖。被告若是公司，则公司住所地即为诉讼文书送达的法定地址，如若因未及时做登记变更，导致未收到传票，诉讼案件极有可能被认为被告缺席判决，责任将由被告自行承担。

《公司登记管理条例》第68条规定：公司登记事项发生变更时，未依照本条例规定办理有关变更登记的，由公司登记机关责令限期登记；逾期不登记的，处以1万元以上10万元以下的罚款。

温馨建议：应尽量避免公司注册地与经营地不一致的情况，若实在无法避免，公司注册地也应安排人员驻守，避免因没有及时更新登记信息，造成人去楼空的现象，从而有发生诉讼风险和行政处罚风险的可能性。
